David J. Sobel, Esq.Dave developed a practice in all areas of litigation and trial work including personal injury defense, insurance claims, vehicular and premises liability claims. In addition, he provides representation to clients with respect to their insurance, corporate and contractual needs. Dave served as the co-chair of the Suffolk County Bar Association Professional Ethics Committee. He has also been an active member of the Suffolk County Bar Association, for whom he has coordinated and lectured on various ethics and No-Fault insurance related subjects. He was quoted in the Long Island Edition of the New York Law Journal and has served as an Officer of the Suffolk County Bar Association Academy of Law. He has also been a member of the Supreme Court Committee, the Grievance Committee and the Judicial Screening Committee.
Dave was admitted to the New York State Bar and the United States District Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts in 1987. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the United States Court of Claims and the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces. In addition, Dave has been a member of the American Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, American Trial Lawyers Association and the New York State Trial Lawyers Association.
Dave received his Juris Doctor Degree from Ohio Northern University, Claude W. Pettit College of Law in 1985. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Adelphi University in 1982.
